SLTU Trains 130 Untrained and Unqualified Teachers

In its bid to raise the standard of education in the country, including peaceful co-existence in school settings, the Sierra Leone Teachers' Union (SLTU) in partnership with the Canadian Teachers Federation (CTF) on Sunday 11th July held the opening ceremony of the in-service training course for some 123 untrained and unqualified teachers, including peace educators across the country. The ceremony was held at the conference room of Hotel 5:10 in Freetown on the theme: "Build Teachers Capacity for Quality Teaching and Learning". Read more...
