Premier Media Boosts Pow Inter-SEC Competition PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 09 March 2006
Management of Premier Media Consultancy last week presented Mrs. Millicent Ogoo, Principal of Prince of Wales Secondary School, Kingtom with sports kits ahead of the Inter Secondary School sports competition. The consignments include fifteen sets of jerseys and shorts, six pairs of spikes and tracksuits.

Managing Director, Dr. Julius Spencer, an old boy of the school, reminded principal and pupils of the school that he and four members of his staff were once pupils of the school.

"As present these kits we hope pupils will project the image of the school. This school used to do very well in sports and was among the few schools, which promoted sports in the country. My deputy here, Desmond Finney used to be a sprinter for this school and subsequently the country and Elkanah Harding was footballer and actor while in this school," he pointed out.  The gesture is in honor of the principal, Mrs. Millicent Ogoo's appeal for help such as the one rendered by Premier Media.

A prefect of the school, Jeffery Williams promised the benefactors that the kits would be used judiciously and that on behalf of the student body he would assure them that they would try their best to be on top of the Inter Secondary School competition.
